Calendly alternative

A Calendly alternative that doesn't charge per seat

Calendly is a good scheduling tool, and its team features are priced per person. TimeFlux covers the same core job, booking pages, round-robin and collective meetings, for one flat monthly price however many teammates you add.

Where the price difference comes from

Calendly charges for each seat. Round-robin scheduling sits on its Teams plan, so a five-person support or sales team pays for five Teams seats to share one booking link.

TimeFlux prices the Teams plan per workspace, not per person. The plan is $15 a month, and adding a sixth or a tenth teammate does not change the bill.

What you get on TimeFlux Teams

Everything a small team needs to share the scheduling load is in one plan:

  • Round-robin events that rotate bookings across the hosts you pick
  • Collective events that only offer times when every required host is free
  • A team booking page listing your team's event types
  • Google Calendar or Outlook sync, with a Google Meet or Zoom link created for each booking
  • Email reminders and follow-ups through workflows
  • A contact CRM that shows each invitee's booking history

Included on every plan, Free too

These are on every TimeFlux plan, Free included. Calendly's Free plan, by comparison, covers one-on-one meetings only.

  • Group events: several people book the same slot, up to a seat limit you set
  • Single-use links, and private event types that only people with a link can book
  • A website embed, inline, as a popup or as a floating badge, with prefilled details and campaign tracking
  • Guests choose their time zone and meeting length, invite colleagues, and reschedule or cancel themselves

When Calendly is the better choice

TimeFlux does not fit every team, and it is better to know that before you switch.

  • People need conflicts checked across several calendars. TimeFlux connects one calendar account per person, Google or Outlook; Calendly's Standard plan connects up to six.
  • You need an enterprise contract. Calendly sells an Enterprise plan for organisations of 50 seats or more.
  • You rely on Calendly's routing forms to send invitees to different team members by answer. TimeFlux screening rules can block or redirect an invitee, which covers simpler cases.

Switching from Calendly

There is no import step to worry about. Create your event types in TimeFlux, connect Google Calendar or Outlook, and replace the Calendly link in your email signature and website. Meetings already booked through Calendly stay on your calendar, and once that calendar is connected TimeFlux treats them as busy time.

Frequently asked questions

Is TimeFlux cheaper than Calendly for teams?

For any team of two or more that needs round-robin scheduling, yes. TimeFlux Teams is $15 a month in total. Calendly Teams is $16 per seat per month billed yearly, so five people cost $80 a month.

Does TimeFlux have a free plan like Calendly?

Yes. The TimeFlux Free plan includes one event type, custom availability hours and automated notifications.

Does TimeFlux work with Outlook?

Yes. On the Pro and Teams plans each person connects either Google Calendar or Outlook. TimeFlux checks it for conflicts and adds every booking to it, and moves or removes the event when a booking is rescheduled or cancelled.

Can several people book the same time slot?

Yes. Make an event type a group event and set how many seats each slot has. The slot stays bookable until it is full, and you can choose to show guests how many seats are left. Group events are on every TimeFlux plan; on Calendly, multi-person meeting types start on the Standard plan.
